1 cup of red wine
1/3 cup of Madeira Wine
5 white cardamon pods (cracked)
1 cinnamon stick
2 cloves
1 tablespoon of orange peel
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Mix all ingredients in a pan and bring to a simmer for a few hours, stirring occasionally. Strain and serve still warm.
